For your consideration an antique 19th c. 3-masted schooner complete with all the sails, detailed rigging, most deck appliances, bow sprit and figure-head. A nice winter project for the right person. Marked/named the “JUDIT” on either side of the bow and on the stern. Contained within an antique glass and wood presentation case with cut-out bracket feet (one was broken off). Old green painted top cover. Unopened by me or anybody in a long time. Corner posts through-pegged into a wood-plank base. (See photo’s) Nicely seated in cleverly modeled faux waves. The sails are carved wood with old faded and peeling whitewash paint as is the hull. The ropes seam to be an authentically rigged but are old and dusty and a few have let go. The base measures 23 x 7 inches. The case is 6″ x 21-3/4″ x 15-1/2 tall. I know how to protect and box this item but without opening the case to secure the innards it could be risky that things could bump off and bounce around inside in-transit.
