Two Versions : Available in two materials, each using boxwood for decorations. Main material : Swiss pear wood or big leaf boxwood. Length: 78 mm (3.1). Width: 60 mm (2.4). Height: 68 mm (2.7). Pre-laser cut for precision and high quality. Small but detailed, includes various deck structures, cabin interiors, metal parts like miniature artillery, firecrackers, and hanging grids. Multiple splicing bayonets and templates are designed for easier installation of small parts. Complexity : Due to its small size, this model is considered difficult to build and requires experience. Shipyard : Built at the Royal Deptford Shipyard, an important Royal Navy base on the Thames River. Launch Year : 1774, under Sir Thomas Ritchie’s supervision. Served in the Mediterranean after entering the Royal Navy in 1775. In 1780, commanded by Patrick Leslie, HMS Enterprise successfully defended against a Spanish fleet attack in Gibraltar. In 1782, under Captain William Carnegie, captured the American privateer Mohawk. Specifications of the Real HMS Enterprise. Tonnage: 594 long tons approx. Length: 36.73 meters (120.5 ft) on the artillery deck, 30.33 meters (99.5 ft) on the keel. Width: 10.21 meters (33.5 ft). Sail Bureau: Full rigging. Armament: 24 9-pounder guns and 4 3-inch mortars. Relief upgrade available, includes 20 fine relief pieces made of boxwood, greatly enhancing the model’s appearance and detail. Note : Due to the small size of the model, it does not include the engraving decoration by default, but the upgrade significantly enhances the aesthetics for advanced modelers. Due the model scale is too small, the original kit does not include engraving decoration part.
