Stromberg Carburetor Model 97.. This is for your Stormberg Model 97 2-Barrel Carburetor used on Ford Flathead engines and custom applications. It will be rebuilt by one of the best and largest classic carburetor rebuilder in the world. The best available new gaskets, seals, accelerator pump, inlet seat/needle, pump springs and power valve are used to bring them to better than new condition and make them ethanol-resistant. You get a new correct size main metering jet and polished stainless steel or brass (your choice) fasteners for the bowl cover. Each carb is bench-tested and set to specifications. I rebuild about 50 of these particular carbs each year so you can be confident that it will be right. Many carbs out there still have a “factory quality” issues typical of no or poor quality control at the time they were manufactured, so I check and correct the problems such as warpage, uneven sealing surfaces, throttle body and throttle plate wear and corrosion that cause fuel to seep out or drip into the carb at idle and after shut down. There is a discount for multiple carbs. If you send a carb which has internal damage from a previous rebuild attempt or passages that can not be unplugged, or has been sitting in a state of disrepair for decades, I will inform you and return the unit at your cost after refunding what you paid for the rebuild service. I can replace any missing parts that are included in rebuild kits, but not missing hardware at this price. (I have some, but check first).
