YOU ARE REALLY MISSING OUT , NOT HAVING A GREAT WAY OF MAKING MINIATURES AND REALLY SEEING WHAT YOU ARE DOING…… Here is a GREAT tool to use when making or building almost any miniature item in the category of DOLLHOUSES, MODEL SHIPS, TRAINS, or almost anything very small. It can be used to PAINT, CARVE, ASSEMBLE, OR OTHERWISE WORK ON where DETAIL WORK is required. This Zeiss microscope that is in used vintage condition has a few extra lenses and parts. The scope has side wheels that change the magnification. They have numbered stops that start with 1, then 1.6 , 4,2.5,1.6, and 0.6. The lenses that come with scope are a pair of 4x with covers, 20x pair, 25x pair, 0.5 single, and a 10x single. Also the scope comes with the Zeiss scope lamp. The scope at sometime in the past was removed from the original base , which is included, and raised up and mounted to a piece of mahogany so you can do hand work. Now the not great news. The scope has a little damage to the mounting dovetail. The scope head mounts to the upright. Properly and firmly, but it is still a little damaged. Also the scope lamp needs to have the 110V wire replaced on the transformer. This scope needs a new home and someone to enjoy seeing the world thru it. This would make a great gift to a MINIATURE CRAFTSMAN or even a youngster who is just getting started with science……..
