An assembled cased set of’metal die cast’ U. Navy recognition/teaching models for the United States Naval vessels and allied vessels, made by the H. Chicago, circa 1942-1944 and later. Contained in a wooden four shelf cabinet with 64 models. Mostly US Navy, some Allied vessels. Individual models range from 2-10 inches in size. Notes from the original collector included and at least one that the original owner built from a kit himself. This is one of the best in quality and quantity that I have seen and properly boxed in shelved cases. Condition: the vessels are in very good condition. And appears a I would expect from studying Framburg models. The case is not labeled by Framburg and is not typical of their cases which were usually quite large, two sided and painted and labeled boxes with carrying handle. But for sheer quality and quantity this has to rank with the best of the collections of American and Allied precision models. The item “U. S. Navy recognition models for US Navy and allied ships. H.
