This is a beautifully wooden box made of solid oak for a 5 (23cm) ships chronometer such as the Hamilton Model 21, Soviet-made Kirova, Nardin or any other 5 chronometer. The box includes a gimbal mount. All hardware and fittings are solid brass, shiny and uncorroded. This box is a real beauty! Although the box appears be in new condition I actually used it with my Hamilton Model 21 that sat on my desk for years until I was finally able to obtain an original Hamilton box that cost me a small fortune.
