This is for a PAIR General Motors 1961 Corvair Carburetors from Wolf Enterprises, the world’s biggest and best Corvair carburetor specialist. These are the only year with manual chokes. There are not many of these left, so even if you don’t need them now, you will have them when you do…. And you probably will. The good news is that I just bought a “stash” of them and can offer a substantial discount as a result. I might have more cores than cars left on the road! This is a Premium Level Rebuild which means just about everything that can be replaced, has been, and all the original plated parts have been cleaned and polished to take them back to near factory appearance. They have recently available new ethanol-proof accelerator pumps and gaskets, correct size fuel inlet assemblies and main metering jets (slightly larger than stock, unless you want stock). You can return these for any reason if you are not satisfied. These are often the style of choice for after market applications since there is no worry about hooking up an automatic choke. The choke will also stay open on their own, if this is not a consideration for you. They come with 2 sets of base gaskets, a set of air cleaner gaskets, a new vacuum plug for the left carb and a complete set of 6 SS accelerator linkage screws and lock washers. Please check the picture and confirm that your ride has this style carburetor. These have chokes that are operated by a cable from the passenger compartment.
